No third party – you directly with AMREF Flying Doctors. In the case of a medical emergency, Tour Operators signed up to this Scheme have access to AMREF Flying Doctors, who are on standby 24 hours a day to provide the highest level of medical care to your clients and staff. Three easy steps: 1. Sign up for the Scheme and register your clients. Register your clients with AMREF Flying Doctors by email. The only prerequisite for clients is that they are covered by international travel insurance. 2. AMREF Flying Doctors responds without delay. While your client is in our care we contact the insurance company and deal with the paperwork. 3. We invoice you monthly. You are invoiced at the end of each month for the tourists registered with the Scheme. Costs:
Money from unused registrations goes towards our life saving Charity Evacuations and AMREF’s Outreach Programme. Tour operators that are not subscribed to the Tourist Evacuation Scheme risk delays in evacuations as AMREF Flying Doctors requires a 50% upfront payment prior to evacuation.
