AMREF Flying Doctors runs a three day First Aid course for management and staff of organizations, companies and communities, as well as individuals.
The course covers vital aspects of First Aid to ensure safety at the work place, home, and in the field.
After three days of practical and theoretical studies, the course culminates in a two-part examination. Courses can accommodate up to 20 students and are currently only available on request.
All participants must have a sound comprehension of English, both written and spoken.
Courses are held at AMREF’s International Training Centre on Langata Road, Nairobi, unless otherwise agreed.

Each course is conducted by two of our full-time flight nurses, who have longstanding teaching experience and several years of working experienceon the job. All our flight nurses are qualified and registered with additional degrees in Intensive Care nursing and trained in Advanced Cardiac, Trauma and Paediatric Life Support.

Accommodation and transport for the AMREF trainers can be provided by the client or will be charged accordingly.
The cost for the course includes all teaching aids, mannequins, first aid equipment and manuals. A complementary quick reference booklet of First Aid techniques accompanies the course and a certificate is issued on successful completion of the course.
